Every other month, Br. John Steilberg, O.P., Provincial Promoter for the Laity, hosts a Zoom Meeting for all Lay Dominicans of the Central Province. Br. John uses this time to provide information, training, and encouragement, and to promote dialogue with and among Lay Dominicans.
At the last meeting on December 18, 2022, Br. John highlighted how being a Lay Dominican is different from being a member of a book club. His presentation is provided below.
Br. John’s next Zoom Meeting will be on February 26, 2023 at 8:30 p.m. (EST). To join the meeting, members enter the MEMBERS PORTAL from the homepage and click on PROVINCIAL PROMOTER MEETING. We will discuss Bishop Barron’s teaching: What’s Our Church’s Growth Strategy? View the Bishop’s video by clicking the BISHOP BARRON button below, then complete the questionnaire by clicking the QUESTIONNAIRE button.

This event will include conferences on the Rosary preached by the friars, several hours of Eucharistic Adoration and confessions, recitation of the Rosary and Mass in the Upper Church, and a Eucharistic procession. The pilgrimage starts (spiritually) with a 9-month novena beginning on January 30. For more information, click below.
